So... I've been having an issue accessing hitomi.la for a while now. I've tried a number of things to no success, so I thought I would see if anyone else had other ideas.
First, what is happening:
I seem to be able to reach the site okay, but nothing loads except the top bar and the sorting bar, as per pic below.
I can click on tag or artist or series or character and a list will propagate, but clicking on anything results in a similar screen albeit with the address bar displaying the tag/artist/series/character as expected. Clicking on language does nothing nor does typing in the search field result in auto displayed categories, as it used to.
Things I have tried:
I have tried other browsers (brave, chrome, edge, firefox), VPN on or off, solutions suggested by n3k0d3v in an older thread here (I can nslookup hitomi.la and ping it without issue, have tried changing my DNS on my adapter to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1, have tried firefox in DoH mode), other computers on my network (including a brand new build)... and nothing works.
The one thing that works is my phone, either on or off the wifi network. though the page does load with lots of adds and popups.
Potential software issues:
Kaspersky, NordVPN, AdBlock, but I have tried disabling them all (temporally)
If anyone has any ideas about this I would love to here them!
