Note: The demo does not have any music or custom main menu background. It's just the introduction to the story and most of the main cast. Just something that tells you how things started and where things might go from there.

The game is about a man in his 40s, whom you'll be playing as. He has spent the last 15 years hiding away in a small town, after he lost his wife and child and quit his job as a "negotiator".
A few months ago he encountered an ad by a young lady who is attending the local university. She was in a bind and looking for an apartment to rent.
Being a solitary person he usually dismissed things like that, but her ad caught his eye and he decided to help her out (before he even met her).
She becomes a good influence on him and gets him to open up.

The game will have 4-5 LIs.
There will be 2 throuple routes, but no harem.
No sandbox or mini-games.
The throuple routes will be polyamorous.

The game will have two main stories. MC's relationship(s) with LIs and a story connected to his past. I do not plan on making the game very long.

I am still writing the script for the game, but I won't be able to render anything until January as I am concentrating mostly on our main game. The only part I will be able to render is parts of the Prologue that I left out of the demo so we can finish the Prologue in full.

but at the same time it radiated hope and love for the main character.

And really,you have lived up to your name again,

Is this a "side project" - or will you be making both games at once?

N2TheFire - Makes Serenity and Last Human simultaneously - with some story crossover events.
(Both are really great games, and the Dev is awesome in everyway).

If the new game gets enough interest, I'll work on it on the weekends, until One Lie is finished. The first game is my main focus, as I am working on the endings for all the routes right now. I have 3 more routes to finish. After that this game will go into full swing, so to say.

It doesn't matter which you choose, Steam or itch. Both get the same version of the game. With the exception that on itch you can get the Android version.

Love Serenity. Meow. Haven't seen Last Human, yet.

The demo is a slightly cut-down version of the Prologue to the game. There are a couple of missing scenes and it has no music or sound effects. It's just to introduce to the story and some of the characters. Please give your feedback on it. Thank you.

Downloaded this morning and started playing. So far I find it is a quite enjoyable game and I like the character introduced so far. Also the option to have romantic moments and possible relationships are quite welcoming.
Keep up the good work and I am eagerly awaiting the completed Prologue next year.

Overall I liked the story, it's quite engaging. The MC reminds me of Liam Neeson's characters: calm, reserved, with baggage from the past, trying to get away from it, but ready to meet it face to face if necessary. "Damsels in Distress" always sells well, I liked that too. I liked the characters, they are funny and nice, and their casual awkwardness looks adorable.

Some future antagonists have already been outlined, so the story will clearly not be a saccharine fairy tale about an elderly man living in retirement surrounded by young beauties who passionately lusting for him out of nowhere.

Well, I found the choppy pacing of storytelling a bit annoying with all the jumping back and forth in time and sometimes abrupt scene transitions. For example, in this scene, the MC meets Julie and Lily for the first time, and in the next scene, they come to dinner and Anna acts like she knows them and they know her. When did they get acquainted? Who the fuck is Jessa, where did she suddenly popped out from?

Hopefully, this is just a rough draft of the prologue and will be smoothed out in the final version.

I usually refrain from judging the graphics, it's quite subjective and a matter of taste, let's say I like the way some characters look, and some - not so much And yeah, gingers for life!

All in all, I liked what I saw, I wish the dev all the best and hope this project will work out perfectly!

I very much liked the game.

The story is compelling and the renders are good. All of the women/girls are gorgeous and I can easily see them as Lis one way or the other.

I am also very happy not all of them have bald pussies (there's too many bald pussies in these AVNs - my personal opinion).

My one negative feedback would be how late into the game we get to change the name of our MC and that there isn't much explanation to why. We get some part of the explanation later in the game (he fled some bad people, naturally he had to change his name). I would have liked to first change my name and then go back in time with maybe an explanation like

"Back then I went by a different name..."

or when it came to input our own name the story could have said.

"Because of what happened I had to change my name..."

Some sort of explanation.

But beyond that the game shows promise. I really enjoyed "One Lie" and will definitively keep this game on my radar too.
