I found the forum. Last post on it was May 18 2022 and the tread is locked. The different game you mentioned, is actually "New pred in town", which I have been enjoying as much as he has created of it.

This was abandoned due to some copyright issues or something. The base game it is built on (text only) is not abandoned.
