Relationships in games without drama is rl and boring.
What you say about Iris is true enough, but if you're friends with Tori, you're likely not friends with Mckayla or Elena, so there's no real drama there. I'm unsure about Gabi since I haven't played that route, but I can't imagine that relationship is anything other than FWBS. But I haven't gone that route yet, so I can't say for sure.

You can combine Tori with Layla(not Elena though), and even if you are on a Alexis path and have Tori as a side thing, Layla is still a friend.
And Tori has some kind of special dislike for her.
Still the closest thing to a friends with benefit.
Gabi, starts as a drunken one night stand and becomes a secret relationship(so officially she says this is a FWB), but it's clearly set up to create the problems.
She shows jealousy, her friend (Ximena the actress) can tell she likes the MC a lot and she has/had some kind of relationship to Santiago(unclear if they were an official couple or lovers).
If you have Val it could also be problematic since she can end up connected to Ximena.

You also mentioned before that Val (most likely) saw you banging Tori after you won your race, and she might tell Layla if you're on her path. (She refers to it before deciding to lick Layla's face instead of yours.)
My money's on Santiago as a lover. Gabi is on the side. That's more Santi's style.
Gabi path endgame will have the most public and scandalous consequences if anyone finds out about you and her.

you and me too at the beginning, tought he is unfaithfulll and has many ladies etc etc, just like the clasical "Galán" (seductor, lady magnet) but, the truth is that, we don't have really proofs on it, in the flashback from Emily, he wanted to asume the responsbility of his son, this was avoided by the apearace of his parents,( which I asume he didn't know about) , and by Andrés, playing the "knight in shining armour" and gaslighting Emily about Santiago.
Adriana on the other hand don't strikes me as a woman who would tolerate any cheating, (of course the argument that she don't knows) but it is very difficult to hide such a behaviour through out years, moreso if they have a close relationship like they have.
And the one we have proof is Andrés, he is a cheater with narcisitic personality, and resentfull.
My take is that Gabi (we know that Santigo was her agent) had a crush on him ever since, and Ximena knows and teases her as good (sister?) or bestie

Gameplay wise? Sure. But from a storyline perspective, it makes no sense for MC to have a relationship with either alexis or elena if he's fucking with Tori. He'd only do something like that because he wants chaos, which, as previously stated, would be the opposite of a friends-with-benefits arrangement.

Nikki was already attracted physically to him but fell more in love after she got to know him. He also saved her from getting run over by a car. He helped make her ex jealous.

Tori is the school bicycle who likes putting notches in her belt.
Lexi has had a childhood crush on him. He was her first (stolen) kiss.
He's known Lakeyn for a few years. We haven't seen any flashbacks to prove that she started warming up to him or if she wanted to fuck him before he initiated things with her.
Slowest burns Elena, Val, Melissa are all justified for different reasons. Melissa gets physically attracted to him, dreams about him, but backs off because of Erynn and Emily. Elena didn't like him initially but starts to fall for him the more time she spends with him. She backs off because of Layla. Val is the new girl in town. She's probably had a heartbreak. She was attracted to him but is making the mc work for it.
Possibles: Adriana may never happen. She only sees us as her daughter's bf and a student. But the mc might get lucky.Sienna is getting to know us. She likes things kinky and might ask us to be a third in her threesome. Brooke is a lesbian or most likely bisexual and has more of a crush on Emily. But she's starting to warm up the more time she spends with him. Sha'Carri is from another school. Gigi likes what she sees but let's see if she backs off knowing you're with Lexi.
I'm not so sure about this one. I don't think that she saw him that way or that the attraction really started for Lexi until she saw him while saying goodbye to Lakeyn and then on the plane. The fact that he happened to also be Erynn's neighbor and childhood best friend was a coincidence, some might say an unfortunate one for her.
As I've said before, when you are older a 3 year age difference is nothing. But when you are 16, dating a 13 year old or even looking at a 13 year old that way is just a....no. I usually have to say this in defense of Erynn and the MC's "confession" but I think that the same applies to Lexi as she was also 16.
It would be a friends with benefits if the girl was trustworthy... Tori isn't that.
If we had a trustworthy girl, that knows our relationship status but still willing to do it for "love of the sport" and stay quiet...
It would still be a scumbag move, going behind the back of your GF, but it would be doing that in relative safety... instead of playing with an active bomb
And it can make sense, guys who cheat(or otherwise embrace every opportunity) exist and they aren't trying to get caught...
There aren't any good casual options, but then again Nyx isn't trying to give us safe casual options.
Even Gabi, who is a mature and trustworthy person, presents plenty of problems, due to her job, relationship to our dad, the fact that she's slowly getting involved...
No problems with Nikki, although she falls for him in just one long scene, there's an implied passage of time (1 or 2) months of them getting close and fond of each other.
Gabi, she's in a vulnerable state having a bad relationship with Santiago, it makes sense that she starts to get involved fast, and our guy is the perfect replacement for Santiago
Melissa will take a lot to get her out of dreamzone and into the real world... she has lots of obstacles, with her daughter and her best friend being connected to the boy.
Adriana will also take a lot... things like breaking her marriage(exposing her husband) and... most likely... lots of drinking.
And she'll never be a relationship, at best a mistake she'll sorely regret due to temporary weakness, i have a hard time seeing her become Gabi 2.0 and replacing Santiago with the MC.
Regarding Alexis i fall more in this camp, she wasn't into him when he kissed her and she wasn't about to start a relationship with him had he stayed in town.
She says she looks fondly upon that kiss nowadays, but i interpreted that as "the guy that gave me my first kiss is now my BF, that's cute", but she wasn't happy when it happened, he was veeeeery far from being her crush back then...
There's a reason they don't recognize each other right away, they never spoke to each other all that much, Erynn even points this out when she has her confrontation with Alexis.

We don't have a proof that it is Santiago, we just saw a big Picture of a Wedding, we know she is married, but that is no proof at all, It might be Santiago, or just another random man.
And It doesn't add up, Santiago is married since a few yrs to Adriana to a point where her daughter, call him Dad instead of Stepdad or use just the first name when refering to him.
