Unfortunately, the answer for both is "not yet, if ever". They both seem like they would be thematic for the game, but we are nowhere near the point in the game where that option would crop up.
okay i wait for this and play also shame the wiki doesn't work

IMO bottleneck of project is java and custom java engine.
Maybe devs consider to jump on something more flexible and supported. This will lead to faster patching, progressing
and modding support wich in another perspective make LT even more popular.
IMO.

You are a couple of weeks late to that conversation. Someone brought up the idea of LT in another engine, and I said much the same. Then another user, Sarkath, laid the problem out for my wretched non-programmer eyes.
Regardless of the engine, the bottleneck will continue to be Inno in some form. My fingers are crossed that she eventually has a Coom to God moment, but I will not be holding my breath.

the biggest diffrence is that other engines may pick up some of the slack. (and also prevent her from using a UI that falls apart from all the webviews)

Game engines aren't designed to be abused the way that LT is abusing the JVM. A direct port to a game-centric engine would probably be far worse than what we currently have, IMO.

Though switching to a UI system that doesn't support webviews would definitely curb one bad habit. :LUL:

i'm beginning to suspect that it's actually this angry dude who kept creating new account to scream to a room full of pirates that has spend actual real money on inno's project

There but for the grace of God go I.
Anyway, a full half of a year since the last full release. We are on-par.
Forget why it is paused, we could jam industrial drills trying to break that tread-down ground. Where is it paused?

From what I understand, the coding is such a nightmare that adding or deleting any of it is very difficult. Therefore, Inno has decided to just let it sit and say she's stressed while milking subs for every last dollar.
Sarkath can give you a more in depth explanation about how FUBAR the code is.
There's no point trying to save this code. We should just form a volunteer community project like "Girl Life" or the forbidden mod of 'Free Cities'.

I know, he already did. That is all the 'why'. But where? Is there a factory room description left half-done, did she get sidetracked writing about navel-humping, are we getting borzoi-morphs next because we dearly need yet another specific dog sub-morph?
There are no wrong answers!

This gives Inno far too much credit honestly. Adding / deleting story is still pretty simple, it's true that meaningfully expanding the simulation is hard, but there's also some easy workarounds there (like just reducing the amount of npcs spawned/simulated) that can buy them tons of time.

They are simply a procastrinator who keeps setting deadlines, then going 'Ah! I still have a few days, it's only a few hours of work, it's fine' and then they're an hour from the deadline and goes '...I can't make it, oh no, well, it's okay, I miss them all the time, they won't be mad if its a few days late...' and a few days becomes longer and...

The more we accept the more normal it becomes for them to keep extending. Truthfully while they're responsible - their loyal fans are partially at fault. Had they made a bigger deal of missing them, they wouldn't have began drifting their standards near this much.

I kind of wish someone made a service like Spotify or Setapp where creators get paid for 'plays' by premium members opposed to getting a flat fee every month regardless of how much they worked. That way their income would be directly tied to content releases drawing people to play again...

Either way, anyone thinking an engine change or the likes will fix this is borderline delusional. Only a change internally to Inno can fix this.

And that's honestly equally delusional, inno has had enough time to change herself, her friends had enough time to help her, but no one is actually willing to or maybe even thinks there's a problem, this is how it's going to be until the game is finished or outright abandoned

At this point, we can safely conclude it'll be abandoned within a month or two.
Say, does anyone want to make a sort of community project for a game with a similar premise to LT?
We'll have to start from scratch but at least there will be progress.

I highly doubt LT will be truly abandoned. It's been marked as abandoned before, only for inno to show up with a little more supposed engine improvements.

As for this community project, are we talking mechanics or setting? I always imagined version of LT that's has modular turned based wresting mechanics. So you could pin your oponnent's arm, wrap thier face in spider silk, freeze their nuts, brand an opponent with a flaming paw, etc. However, it needs to be simpler than the madness going on over at Dwarf Fortess.

If such a project lasts past the alpha 0.0.1 stage I'd be happy to lend a hand writing for it. However, we need a plan. What enginewill be used if any? What provisions will there be for different contributers (writers vs programmers vs artists)? Are sex and combat going to stay separate or intertwine? What about magic? Lots of details to figure out before even starting unless we want another mess of spaghetti code.

Before you undertake something like this, I'd urge you to take a look at . It has a very different story premise, but its UI/presentation and game mechanics are quite similar to Lilith's Throne.

You might be able to contribute to the project. Alternatively, you could just fork the whole repository, chop out the unwanted storyline, and then splice in content for your LT-inspired game.

Pros and cons of BDCC:
+ active developer
+ community input (code, bugfixes, characters, storylines)
+ stable codebase; good performance
+ animated sex scenes
+ sub/disempowered roles can be played (as well as dom roles)
+ if an NPC annoys you then you can enslave and abuse them
- character customization is less extensive than LT
- rudimentary combat
- awkward inventory management
? content focuses heavily on "furry" fetish
? small-scale, low-stakes story

The good news is you can turn it off for generated npc's. The bad news is that all the important NPC's remain fury and you're required to have lesbian sex with a cat morph to proceed.

Edit: I instinctively put lesbian because I usually play as a woman. Oops.
