No need to rub salt over the wound. but replaying this after all this time really reminds me of how well written this game was.
we all mourn the lost of this game. it was one of the first games I played on this site and it got me really into AVN

Same here My favorite part was when you get to the manor to defend against the werewolfs but won't see more so now have a tombstone text file for all the dead games that worth it in my eyes
Suggest me some magic game with harem in pm (netori and hony select is ok netorare is no no)

I'm still in the process of learning how to create VN's, but one of the things I aim to do once I learn enough is I plan to do a fan remake of this since we all loved this VN. I came by today to redownload this and try to get a good idea of how to continue the story. I have a few fan remakes of VNs in mind that devs either abandoned or went missing and didn't finish. I'm honestly surprised after all this time no one has tried to do what I'm talking about.

the problem is so many of the characters and assets are custom, or heavily modified from their stock versions. Plus theres the problem that only kyois actually knew the plan and the lore. This isnt a small task. Pop into the discord if ye wanna talk more about it

Best of luck man, I really wish this game wasn't dead, it was one of my first AVNs, together with Depraved Awakening and OIAL
So I got off to a great start really, and then one day this game was abandoned, still remember the last devlogs and previews on Patreon... it sucked cause I really enjoyed the story.
this game had so much potential and had just gripped me then bam, the dreaded abandoned tag.

I suppose I'm not the only one who thinks this is a bad idea and that is part of the reason why nobody tried. No offence but I have 0 interest in your interpretation of where the story might have gone. If you have great ideas for your own, similar story I'd be very interested to try that one out, but please don't try to piggybag off of Reluctant Archon. For all we know that dev might even be dead, it just seems mad disrespectful to me.

yea it's been debated before and consensus was that bad idea and it wouldn't be same game anymore etc.
on 1 game group got dev's assets and rest after his dead but despite promises to continue game is still at same state as when dev died. those other devs gave up pretty quickly.
Pretty much best idea is to take inspiration and make your own game, with your own story, in scenario like this. No one can really copy the feel of story of the original dev had and it would feel jarring if someone else tried to finish it, unless they had extensive notes from the original writer of what is planned etc....

Exactly my point to. I love these kinds of stories and new and fresh vns are always welcome. As much as I would love to see this one finished, it was my favourite after all, the thought of someone else possibly turning it into a shit show makes my skin crawl.
