Hello.
I have a question: is the game still “abandoned”?
I saw that there was an update since the last version I downloaded, it went from 0.6.2 to 0.6.4.
So, are updates just slow in coming, or is it really abandoned?

The game is abandoned per forum rules, but it's still being worked on. 0.6.4 was a minor update to comply with Patreon's ToS, editing some story bits. You can find the changelog here

If I understand it right, by F95 standards the game is "Abandoned". To be marked as abandoned 1 of 3 things must happen.
1) the Dev says they are abandoning the project.
2) a certain amount of time of the Dev being complete radio silent must pass. I think it's 6 months.
3) a certain amount of time must pass of no meaningful updates. I think that is about 18 months.

It has been over 18 months since the last meaningful update, so it gets the mark. That said the Devs are still working on the game (though at a very slow pace). I've seen people mention of 0.7 having a predicted release date of end of Nov (assuming no delays) but I don't know if that's a confirmed fact. If you visit their Patreon and go to their "About" page you can see a progress chart.

Devs live 1000km away from that zone and are totally safe. There are 158 confirmed deaths but those figures will probably rise to more than 200 casualties. I get some people are here just for the laughs but, with all due respect, I don't think it's fun to joke about this topic.

It's tagged as abandoned because the last update was over two years ago. Devs have a deadline for the next update for late November. Me personally, I think it'll be January, but I'll be happy if I'm wrong. Other people think there will never be a next update.

Man, you used a real tragedy in our country (205 people killed, and still counting) to imply devs would now have a convenient excuse to delay the update if they want, even after we said they weren't affected. If it wasn't a bad joke then it's even more despicable from you.

Who is hiding behind it? People were concerned about devs possibly being affected, I said they weren't, and the event has no influence over the update. Period. Then you came and implied they'd use it to announce a delay. Awful taste.

We joke about the devs delays and shit, but when a tragedy occurs (not necessarily to the devs as in this case), people don't tend to joke about that right as the tragedy is unfolding, it's called bad taste.

So when you make a bad taste comment, and then double down suggesting moskyx should have tempered his response to you, "without requiring more from you" being your exact words... it's pretty ironic, considering nothing at all was required from you in the first place.

I'm not angry at all. I usually just make fun posts and laugh on these forums (and enjoy some good games when they are finally released). But your post struck me as hypocritical, so I pointed it out.
