And I'm saying that I personally don't believe it's a "straight rip-off" like you're fond of saying, it's really not my fault you decided to read one piece of work and then stamp the rest as SL copies just because it's the more popularized one but whatever. Have a good one, arguing is going to lead nowhere here.
You have very obviously not either read or watched the anime for Solo Levelling. About 90% of this game is based exactly on that. Here's how:
1. Portals mysteriously open through the world
2. After portals open people start to get powers (I think they even use the same term for when the power becomes active). Adventurer's are ranked F-S.
3. The portals are ranked F-S and can only be safely cleared by adventurers whose level average is above the portal average, or equal to if enough adventurers are available.
4. The portals have to be cleared, including the boss, before their timer runs out and the monsters escape and rampage
5. Every portal has a boss and specific creatures in it that you only know when you enter
6. Portals change level, essentially rank up after they are entered which almost kills a party
7. There is a blonde S-power class female vice-guild commander in SL, just like the platinum/silver S-ranked vice-commander. Will not be surprised to find out her guild is the strongest, just like in SL.
8. The monsters and materials have to be cleared out of the portals, usually by the adventurer's or teams of 'cleaners', once the monsters are defeated before the portal closes
9. The MC has some 'shadow' or 'magic' power that allows them to rank up from their start level through the higher levels, to basically become unlimited in power. While not explicitly stated so far, from the way it's described that Azazel is 'weak now' but will gain in strength over time, this is the expected route the MC's power level will increase.
10. The MC's power seems related to 'shadow' or 'magic that looks like shadow'. That could just be how it's been rendered in game, but the similarities are striking.
The only thing this doesn't have (so far) is the MC's sister actually powering up at some point, which did happen in the anime/manga, or it was heavily implied that she had huge potential when her power unlocked. This also doesn't have the "war in heaven" backstory, with the shards of light and the betrayal of the higher power god things going on, which is how the MC got their power in SL, but yeah otherwise it's about 90% of the entire world building lore from SL so far in this game.
