I'm kind of confused on the criticism, maybe you can help me understand better. You can just not customize them? Before the customization they looked the same as the default customization, so I don't see the why the simple option of customizing them, takes things away?
Yes, I could customize them. But since you can change basically everything about them, hair, clothes and body shape, I ended up seeing each of them as a blank npc with which you can do anything. Maybe that was your goal, but I think it'd be nicer if each of them was her own defined character (maybe being able to change their clothes and that's it). That way, they become more recognizable and each of them feel more distinct. Like each of the other named girls. You CAN customize them, but each of them has enough differences with eachother, from clothes, body shape, hairstyles and colors, make up and whatnot, that they feel unique in their default looks.
It may also help reduce the size of the game and make it easier for you to make smooth animations.
