I've released v1.104.
I've implemented the purple tag changes and made 2 more translator entries for Google and Levi. They use the same script protection stuff as SLR. Google might produce a bit weird results because it's using the dictionary system, but Google always produces weird results anyway.

And because this was part of some feedback I got as not obvious:
You can actually search by tag if you use the target drop-down menu:

(These are not the only meanings in those regions, just examples for how varied this shit is.)

it's not the first time i've asked you for a sauce of a game and sometimes you tell, sometimes you don't for whatever stupid reason you have, but you don't owe me anything, you can do whatever the fuck you want really
you're right that i'm derailing the thread though, so back on topic, have you fixed the word wrap issue yet? with this update i mean
to date there hasn't been a SINGLE game where it has gotten it right, some text always goes out of bounds

as a tip for everyone, you can use mtool to shrink the font size in real time
it's a weird workaround, but it's the things we have to do, in all fariness no tool is perfect

wait, surely me mentioning another tool is okay, right shisaye? or do i edit this post and delete that mention of it?

What on earth are you talking about? stint and size are right 99% of the time if you actually follow the tutorial and change the font.

That is definitely not a "normal" game.

A normal RPGM Dialogue box allows 4 lines, but this specific dev wanted different sizes for different events in an attempt to make the dialogue box cover less of the CG.

The lazy/easy way to fix it is to disable the variable stuff in the plugin entirely and just accept that the box is going to be a bit bigger during events.
To do that in this example you need to change the values for the used NRP-MessageWindow plugin in the plugins.js.

And it will always make a dialogue box big enough to fit 4 lines.


You could also instead try to fix it with a higher wrap number and just hope it never makes more than 2 lines for those specific events, but the proper way to address it would to force it to create a new box every 2 lines instead of 4, but that could cause new different issues especially because I haven't really tested that option, yet. (It's currently hidden.)

You would need to edit the rmmv.js in the www>addons>rmmv folder.
Change the 4 in this line to 2.

thisAddon.config.maxLineMessage = thisAddon.config.maxLineMessage || 4;

And enable the "maxLineMessage" optionsForm.

(Probably actually don't, it definitely still has some issues. For example depending on how the CG are shown, it creating new dialogue boxes can mean that CG shows up before the text actually reached that point.)

I've released v1.105.
There was an issue sometimes breaking \! or \. pauses at the end of sentences and the error detection didn't even notice them.
That is fixed now and rogue \ should be detected more reliably now.
I've also improved how purple tagged cells are handled so there's no changes to other systems.

But what do they want to do with it?
And what is "mplus"?
I mean if they just want to batch translate it they obviously can, the wrapper should protect scripts and stuff.
(Although the state messages in MZ will turn out horrible with Sugoi. I still need to make proper dictionary entries for those.)

nvm. um btw, i hv a problem when i translate this game i can't fight enemies, I noticed when playing the original game, when I fight enemies it will zoom the character with the enemy and can fight, I'm looking for the problem in the plugin. js and some files I suspect but I can't fix it even though I use the original plugin. js doesn't fix it, maybe you can help me

It's using a custom arpg combat plugin that is working with skill name entries.
In Skills you have a -----weapon cell at 268. below that you can find a few 1 kanji 1 number entries like Sword1 at cell 270.
Whatever translation is in there needs to be mirrored exactly the same in the <Bullet:'SKILLNAME'> entries. For example the Sword one is in Map001 cell 21.

So in short for the basic sword attack to do dmg in the combat map you need to change cell 270 in Skills to Sword1 and cell 21 in Map001 to <Bullet:Sword1>.

Or you need to get rid of those skill name translations in Skills.


I could build automation for that, but it's very unlikely that a different dev would use that same plugin in the same way.

Edit: This was assuming you meant that attacks do no damage because that's an issue I noticed, and I didn't really understand what you mean with the zoom stuff.
